Metric oval eye screws
Metric oval eye screws are screws with a standard metric ISO thread and an elongated eyelet, which are used to connect two construction elements. They can be screwed into one of the workpieces by hand; the counterpart is fastened by means of a nut and washer. The transverse fluting on the elongated eyelet increases the grip when screwing into the metric thread. The elongated shape of the screw head makes it easy to compensate for tolerances during assembly.
Screws with elongated eyelets are used as a fastening solution in plant engineering, for example in control cabinets, as well as in electrical and domestic engineering, fence construction and gardening. Similar to ring bolts and eye bolts, oval eye screws are characterized by an elongated, extremely flat eyelet that can also be used to suspend loads.
