Eye nuts
Hook nuts can be used to suspend cables, ropes and components from ceilings and walls. The metric thread allows them to be fastened to matching counterparts, such as screws or threaded bolts. It should be noted that hook nuts (also referred to as ceiling hooks or suspension hooks) differ from cap nuts, even though the latter are sometimes also called hook nuts. Cap nuts have slots for the attachment of hook wrenches and are used to axially secure shaft-hub connections.
Eye nuts have a metric female thread that lets you create secure connections that are also easy to undo. Cables or ropes, for example, can also be easily removed from the hook – in contrast to the closed eyelets on ring bolts. As a result, eye nuts are used to create flexible suspension options in industry, trade and craft.
