Long nuts allow components to be firmly connected to each other with precise spacing. The connecting sleeve has a continuous metric female thread and is also known as a threaded sleeve or extension nut.

Long hex nuts are typically used to make stable threaded connections that are easy to install or remove with a suitable wrench. These include, for example, connections with bolts or threaded rods. Long nuts have a wide range of applications in industry. For example, these connecting nuts can be used to prevent mechanical contact between components in control cabinets.

Connecting nuts made from the highest quality materials for maximum precision

Our long nuts comply with the standard specifications and the DIN-6334 tolerances. Thus, our 3d-long DIN 6334 hexagonal long nuts are exactly three times longer than their nominal thread diameter (m = 3d). An M8 connecting or long nut is therefore 24 mm long (3 x 8 mm). All our nuts are RoHS and SVHC compliant.
