Coupling nuts with stop
Coupling nuts with stop are used to connect two metric threads – for example, to extend hanger bolts or threaded rods or to bridge a specific distance. The stop inside the coupling nut ensures that both threads can be screwed in at an equal depth.
Spacer sleeves nuts with a center stop don’t have a continuous thread and are instead divided in the middle. They can be used like a double nut.
These fastening elements, also known as threaded sleeves/spacer sleeves with stop, have a hexagon shape that allows them to be tightened using an open-end wrench or ring spanner.
